Visconsi Expands Footprint in Northwest
04.30.2021
Visconsi Companies, Ltd. is firmly establishing the Northwest US as one of its major areas of focus. The Company first planted its flag in this territory with its development of new branches in Portland and Springfield, Oregon for preferred developer client Key Bank. That was rapidly followed by the development of Wintergreen Walk, a multi-use project on Washington’s Bainbridge Island which was triggered by sites for Key Bank and Walgreens, another Visconsi preferred developer relationship. The Company additionally anchored the site with a 30,000 square foot medical office building for Virginia Mason Health System.
On the heels of Wintergreen Walk, Visconsi kicked off the development of Mountain View Marketplace, a 28-acre Costco-anchored center in Bonney Lake, Washington that has seen the addition in the past year of Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, MOD Pizza, Habit Burger, Valvoline, and Sound Credit Union. More tenant announcements are coming shortly.
Also in development is Station Square in Mount Vernon, Washington, a 7-Eleven-anchored development that will include Wendy’s and is targeted for mixed-use. Several additional 7-Eleven projects are currently in pre-development by Visconsi in the region.
To continue its trajectory in this vibrant market, Visconsi added John Viacava to its Team as Regional Development and Leasing Manager. John joined the Company from First Western Properties where as Commercial Broker he built a strong reputation among commercial tenants. John is based in Seattle.
