Sterling Jewelers opens its first dual-branded store at Visconsi Companies’ Frederick, MD development

Sterling Jewelers, a member company of Signet Jewelry, Inc., the world’s largest retailer of diamond jewelry, has opened its first Jared The Galleria of Jewelry/JamesAllen.com dual store. This unique retail combination is set in the Visconsi Companies’ Frederick, Maryland development located along Urbana Pike and adjacent to the market’s major retail center, Francis Scott Key Mall.

JamesAllen.com is Signet’s online-only diamond jewelry brand. It offers a trend-setting tech-enabled approach to shopping for engagement rings while creating a unique customer environment. It utilizes the latest in virtual reality to look at diamonds, a coffee bar with tablets to quiz shoppers’ diamond knowledge, a ring try-on photo booth to share photos on social media and specialized technology to curate jewelry offerings.

Sterling is also the U.S. parent company to other well-known brands such as Kay Jewelers and Zales.
